Abstract:	本文試圖透過分析比較的研究方法，以「中國圖書館學會」和「澳洲圖書館與資訊學會」為對象，來探討在不同國家內的圖書館學會之發展情形。主要比較範圍以兩學會的組織體系與會員類型為主，第一部分先對這兩個學會作一概略的介紹，包括成立緣起、宗旨、組織體系與會員類型等方面，第二部分則進行兩個學會的組織體系與會員類型的比較，以說明兩學會在這兩個方面的異同與形成差異的可能因素。
