Abstract: This paper is a reviewing research on the cultural influences in distance learning. Eleven empirical researches were reviewed to examine the impacts of cultural factors on (a) psychological factors, (b) learning activities, (c) online group process and development in distance learning. Findings indicate that culture is an important factor on these three aspects in distance learning setting.
