    Abstract: 本文主要是針對在追求卓越發展口號下,台海兩岸近年來的高等教育政策進行檢視。探討的重點包括學術卓越的概念,及檢視台海兩岸高等教育政策的重要改革,在台灣地區以教育部於1998年所提之「大學學術追求卓越發展計畫」為主;在中國大陸則以其「建設世界一流大學、高水平大學」的政策為主。最後,本文亦嘗試針對台海兩岸高等教育相關之政策,進行歸納比較。
    This paper mainly aims to review higher education policies related to the pursuit of excellence in both Taiwan and Mainland China. After exploring the idea of "excellence", this paper will try to review the higher education policies related to the pursuit of excellence in Taiwan and Mainland China in recent years, respectively. Finally, this paper will try to compare the similarities and differences of higher education policy related between Taiwan and Mainland China.
