    Abstract: A survey of occupational teachers and school administrators was conducted to determine their preparation, educational background, and inservice needs. Nine out of 10 administrators felt that teachers' occupational skills and teaching competencies needed upgrading. Most teachers wanted inservice education in new and emerging technologies.
