    摘要: 網際網路與電腦遊戲等科技環境的形成以使現代學生被冠上「網路世代」的 名號,長期沉浸於數位媒體的結果,這群學生的思考與資訊處理方式產生了質 變,喜歡圖像勝於文字。文字處理也傾向短、快且淺。 本研究本擬以淡江大學約100 名來自不同學院的大學生為對象,探究其在網 路使用上對圖像的偏好是否反映在一般性的圖像認知解讀上。研究採問卷調查 法、深度晤談及行動研究。作法為填答「大學生網路使用與偏好問卷」所有題項, 接著在電腦上觀看分屬「形式」、「內容」、「學習」等三類共20 張圖片。並依照 指示寫下他所看到圖像及所代表的意義,透過這些提示,引發學生多做思考歷程 的陳述。學生完成所有填答後,進行資料的蒐集與分析。根據「網路使用偏好問 卷」,將學生類分為「圖像導向組」與「文字導向組」,再交叉比對兩組不同知覺 導向之學生其在圖像認知上的差異,提出綜合報告,並根據結論對下一階段的圖 像教學做出提醒及計畫修正。
    The formation of the environment of WWW and computer gaming has given today’s student the title of “Net Generation”. The long indulging in Digital Medias has changed the nature of their way of thinking and information processing, which makes them love images more than texts and tending to use words short, fast and shallow. This research will establish a group of 100 students across all colleges in TangKang University in an attempt to study whether if the preference of image over the web applications reflects to the understanding of their general Image Cognition. The research process will be carried out in a serial of three operations on every object: Questionnaires, Interview in depth, and Action Research. First of all, each and every object will be asked to completely answer a form, “The questionnaire of the Network usage and preference of College student”, followed by grouping 20 computer images into 3 categories, 「Form」, 「Content」 , and 「Learning」. Then the objects will be required to write down all the images together with the attached meaning that they have just seen in order to dig out more descriptions out of student’s thinking process. The next step is to collect and analyze the information after all objects completing their answering. Based on the result of the questionnaires, the objects will be divided into two groups, Image Oriented Group and Text Oriented Group, and a general report will be proposed by cross-referencing the Image Cognition differences on the Reception between the two groups. Finally, a reminder and modification of the next-phase of Image Teaching will also be suggested based on the result.
