摘要:	儲蓄率與經濟成長率間存在著雙向關係，已得到很多實證文獻的證實。本計畫將以標準的內生成長模型加入休閒與休閒習慣的形成(habit formation in leisure)，來討論此雙向關係是否存在於理論模型中。一般成長模型皆可得到高儲蓄率有助於經濟成長的結論，但卻無法得到反向的關係。這也是本計畫加入休閒習慣的主要原因，想要藉著這個機制讓消費者願意延遲消費，增加儲蓄，得到經濟成長有助儲蓄的結果。 Saving and growth are strongly positively correlated across countries. Recent empirical evidence suggests that this correlation holds largely because high growth leads to high saving, not the other way around. But this evidence is difficult to reconcile with standard growth models. This proposal just tries to solve this problem in a model when utility depends on habit formation in leisure.
