    Abstract: 本研究旨在瞭解在家教育者的資訊行為,包含資訊需求、資訊來源與管道、在家教育者尋求資訊時遭遇的困難情況,以及在家教育者對資訊服務提供者的需求及期望。因此本研究以在家教育者最為集中的臺北縣市區域的在家教育家庭為對象,透過深度訪談與參與觀察法進行研究,瞭解在家教育家庭之資訊行為及在尋求資訊中遭遇的困難。依據觀察與深度訪談結果,本研究結論與建議如下:
    1. 選擇在家教育原因複雜,通常不僅止於單一因素,且直接影響其資訊需求。
    2. 在家教育家庭需要大量且多元的教育資源與資訊管道。
    3. 在家教育家庭希望獲得教育相關單位的協助。
    4. 應設定在家教育資源平台,讓家長更容易得到及使用資源。
    5. 可成立提供給在家教育者的學科專家諮詢。
    6. 資訊服務提供者可提供互動或主題性的教學活動。
    This thesis aimed to explore homeschoolers’ information behavior, including their information needs, information sources, information channels, the difficulties encountered and homeschoolers’ expectations of information service providers. The participants in this study were 11 homeschool families who live in Taipei City and County where the most concentrated area of homeschoolers. The methods to carry out this study were using participant observation and interview. According to the results of the study, the conclusions are as follows:
    1. The parents chose to educate their children at home for different reasons; very often, they made the decision based on more than one type of reasons, which influence their information needs directly.
    2. Homeschoolers need substantial and a variety of educational resources from different information sources.
    3. Homeschoolers show great interests to be able to access education related institutions for assistance.
    4. Designing an information exchange platform for homeschoolers would simplify the process of accessing and using the resources.
    5. From the service point of view, information providers could setup subject specialist reference service for homeschoolers.
    6. Information providers are advised to design library services that are interactive in nature for homeschoolers.
