Abstract: As the saying goes, “Many hands make light work.” With many helpful hands from various people through various means, I have accomplished this dissertation. Therefore, I would like to show my acknowledgements to those who contributed to the fulfillment of the study. First of all, I owe everlasting gratefulness to my advisor, Dr. Ye-Ling Chang, who enabled me to develop an understanding of the subject. She continually and convincingly conveyed a spirit of adventure in regard to research and an excitement in regard to teaching by being a role model. Without her guidance and persistent help from the initial to the final stage, this dissertation would not have been possible.
A special thanks goes to Dr. Ping-Jung Hsieh, who introduced me to the field of knowledge management. She has made available her support in a number of ways. Her encouragement eased my anxiety and her guidance clarified my confusion about the subject. In addition, I would like to express my appreciation to the other committee members, Dr. Hui-Fen Lin, Dr. Shou-Hua Lin, and Dr. Shin-Mei Kao for their constructive suggestions and insightful comments on my study. Their opinions facilitated me to improve and polish my dissertation.
Moreover, I want to thank the subjects in my study from the Department of Math and the Department of Fine Arts at National Kaohsiung Normal University for their valuable contribution. Meanwhile, I would like to acknowledge my classmate, Ms. Hui-Fang Peng, for being such a friendly and supportive companion in the journey of my dissertation writing.
Last but not least, I am heartily thankful to my loving parents who gave me the moral support I required. Their unselfish care and full understanding helped me go through my Ph.D. program. I also want to thank my puppy Ruby for always cheering me up through the stressful days of my dissertation writing. This dissertation is sincerely dedicated to those who supported me in any respect during the completion of the study.
