    摘要: 本文以數值模擬小型風力發電機風車之流場分析與空氣動力特性,並使用計算流體力學套裝軟體FLUENT 6.3.26版求解Navier-Stokes方程式。網格系統為非結構性網格,並以葉片周圍轉動網格模擬風車葉片轉動之情形。
    本文採用NACA-2415以及NACA-4415作為風車葉片翼型,並以不同葉片螺距角、翼展、入口風速以及加裝翼尖小翼進行模擬,並將模擬結果與實際相同大小之風車於風洞內測試所得之實驗值做比對,來驗證數值模擬結果應用於實際風車作為效能分析之可行性,並探討風車葉片在不同外型下的空氣動力特性與最佳輸出效能。
    經過數值模擬結果與實驗值的比對後發現,在葉片尖端速度比小於7時所得的模擬值相當接近於實驗值,但在尖端速度比太大的情況下,模擬數值與實驗值的比對仍有誤差存在,關於此部分的問題仍待解決。在將葉片加裝winglet後,可提升葉片的效能。而入口風速大時,也可得到較高的效能。當風速為8m/s,某些轉速下會出現突然升高的效能係數,未來還需要進一步的研究,但和實驗值的趨勢大致上還是相同。模擬數值的結果大部分與實驗值的趨勢相同,在尖端速度比不大時,數值模擬能相當準確的預測風車性能。
    This thesis investigated the flow field and performance of small wind turbines. A CFD software package, FLUENT, was used to solve the Navier-Stokes equations to obtain the flow field. The numerical results were compared with experimental data.
    Two airfoils, NACA-2415 and NACA-4415, were used to manufacture the turbine blades. The effects of several parameters which might affect the performance of wind turbines were studied. They were blade attack angle, blade span, inlet velocity, airfoil shape, and winglet.
    Several conclusions can be drawn from the comparison of numerical and experimental results. First, the comparison of power coefficient is very close when the tip speed ratio is smaller than 7. The agreement is not good at larger tip speed ratios. The reasons need to be further investigated. Second, the power coefficient is higher for larger inlet velocities.
    Third, increasing the blade span enhances the power coefficient. Fourth, NACA-4415 has a better power coefficient than that of NACA-2415 due to its higher lift coefficient. Fifth, the installation of winglet can increase the power coefficient a little, the effect is not strong.
