根據研究結果，提出下列四項建議： 1、由學校單位規劃相關課程以培養人才 2、建構國內法律圖書館員之核心能力標準 3、研擬適合法律圖書館員的在職訓練課程與資格認證 4、提升法律圖書館的地位，進入企業組織的核心 This study aims to investigate the core competencies of Law Library. The research methods include document analysis,questionnaire survey and depth interview. First, collecting achiements in the researches which focus on core competency of librarian at home and abroad. Then design a questionnaire to investigate the business status of Law Library and induce the core competencies of Law Librarian.Finally, analysis and generalize the real core competencies by depth interview.
The findings of this research are as follows: a. Zeal, sense of responsibility and initiative are most importment core competencies of a Law Librarian. b. Comprehand and analysis the information needs are the most importment in customer service. c. Law Librarian needs to have knowledge of law discipline. d. Law Librarians usually play various roles, so self-development is very importment.
Some suggestions proposed in this study include a. Building classes in school for training Law Librarians. b. Building a standard of core competency of Law Librarians. c. Building class for advanced study and qulification of Law Librarians. d. Heave the position of Law Library and make it to be the core of enterprise.
