There are few researches referred to the information requirement for green supply chain and there are a lot of standards for a company to follow. This study provides a complete information framework to support green supply chain modeling. In addition, a green supply chain modeling language GSCML is developed to provide a generic framework for storing green supply chain structure and exchanging information. The GSCML is a platform-independent, methodology-independent, XML-based markup language, which provides the flexibility to define a green supply chain without lots of restriction.
