隨著知識經濟時代的來臨,高科技產業在台灣經濟發展當中,一直扮演著舉足輕重的角色。面對今日這瞬息萬變的時代,企業必須投入大量的人力和資源在研究發展上,為了幫助企業找到具有優秀創新思維的研發人員,進而強化企業的競爭實力,故本研究試圖建立一份關於研發人員科學素養的量表,透過文獻的探討與業界人士的建議,進一步發展這份量表,期許能為企業找出具有創新思維的研發人員,或在企業甄選人才與教育訓練時,能提供一項有效的衡量工具。
本研究以台灣電子資訊業為研究範圍,其研發人員為研究對象。回顧相關文獻資料,以及訪談業界人士,了解國內電子資訊業研發人員之工作環境與工作內容。接著透過文獻探討與訪談內容整理,進而建立本量表之架構與各個衡量構面與題項,經過前測分析後,刪修不適當題目,完成共計51題之正式量表。
本研究針對7家樣本公司,透過紙本與電子郵件的方式發放量表,有效回收量表為311份。根據因素分析重新建構三個構面中的子構面並分別命名。透過信度分析可發現,變項、構面與子構面之Cronbach’s α值皆在0.7以上,顯示本量表具有良好的效度與信度。為了確認探索性因素分析所得之因素結構是否合適,故利用驗證性因素分析加以檢驗,結果發現本量表之整體配適度良好。本研究發放量表時,同時施以Scott & Bruce (1994)所發展之創新行為量表,發現受測結果有顯著相關,故本量表具有良好的效標關聯效度。最後利用業界的員工績效資料與本量表之受測結果做一比對,結果發現量表之科學素養得分越高者,也會有越好的績效,證明了本量表確實可為企業所用,是一份有效的衡量工具。 High-tech industry in Taiwan has been playing an important role in the knowledge economy era. R&D personnel is the key to business is competitive; however scientific literacy is the ability to meet the basic elements of innovation. This study tries to develop an Instrument of R&D Personnel’s Scientific Literacy. We expect to find excellent R&D personnel or the selection of personnel in enterprises, education and training, can provide an effective measurement.
This research is based on interviews and questionnaires to construct this scale, a total of seven interviews with the case company, and recovered 311 valid samples. Using an exploratory factor analysis to reconstruct three dimensions, the sub-dimensions and named. Cronbach''s α value were above 0.7, showed that the scale has good validity and reliability. Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the scale has a good overall fit. The criterion related validity is also significant. Finally, we found the higher science literacy score of R&D personnel also have better performance. The results can be shown that the scale can be used by enterprise.
