    Abstract: 本論文主要在研究量子點形狀的變化與其光學性質,以及觀察量子點隨時間變化的穩定性。實驗內容包含觀察碲硒鎘鋅量子點的形狀變化過程,並討論此過程;本實驗亦研究量子點的最佳覆蓋率,進而作成多層量子點樣品,然後對其做光譜量測。此外,我們也對S-K mode量子點做時間穩定性的觀察,發現有量子點分裂成兩個量子點的現象。
    We had observed the structure evolution & photoluminescence of ZnCdSeTe quantum dots with different coverge. We also observed the structure variation of quantum dots for 1 to 48 hours after removed the sample from the Hot-Wall epitaxy system.
    The structure of ZnCdSeTe quantum dots are switched from circle to triangle then to pyramid shape as the coverage increased, and the movement of the molecular cluster play an important role in the mechanism of the structure variation.
    As the time went on, large quantum dots were collapsed to smaller dots without displacement. We also found that one quantum dot was collapsed then became two quantum dots.
