本文撰寫乃以作者於銀行業十五年餘之經驗，歷經服務於金融控股公司旗下銀行、新銀行及區域銀行之見聞及與高階經營者訪談、實地參與組織運作、觀察，再經由相關文獻探討並兼以各類型銀行之近四年營運績效分析比較及SWOP分析為主要研究方法，針對區域銀行之經營績效進行研究，進而了解區域銀行在面對國內外商銀行、金融控股公司及眾多銀行同業競爭威脅下所因應研擬採行之策略，及提供研究建議予區域銀行之經營參考。 自1990年代以來，政府積極推動金融自由化與國際化，陸續解除各項金融管制，採行一系列的金融改革措施，使得我國的金融市場進入另一個蓬勃發展且競爭更形激烈的時代。而面對前所未有的激烈競爭環境之下，本國區域銀行如何有效因應，以突破當前困境，將是區域銀行是否能夠繼續經營的關鍵。 This thesis composes of the observation of the author with 15 years experiences in bank, after served under the bank in the finance holding company , the new bank and the regional bank , participated in the organization operation, and collects the related literature discussions , analysis the financial statement of various types banks within near 4 years and take the SWOT analysis as the main research technique, to understand the strategy of the regional bank facing the competition from foreign banks, the finance Holding company and under the numerous banks’ competitive threat , to suggest the management of the regional bank for reference. Since 1990, the government of Taiwan has promoted the financial liberalization and the internationalization positively, relieves each monetary control one after another continually, adopts a series of financial reform measure, causes our country''s money market to enter another competitive time. But facing the unprecedented steep competition environment, how does the regional banks in Taiwan break through the current difficult position effectively, will be the key to regional bank whether can continue operating or not.
