    Title: 中國大陸銀行業資產規模、收益率與回歸零售業務之分析

    Abstract: 本研究以2000年至2007年為研究期間,試圖應用Hirtle and Stiroh(2007)對回歸零售業務的研究模型,加入Clark et al.(2007)對零售業務變數的定義,並引用Hirtle(2007)年對銀行屬性的分類,建立本研究的研究模型,以中國大陸地區的10家一般商業銀行為研究對象,探討中國大陸的銀行業是否有回歸零售業務的現象,以及在回歸零售業務的趨勢下,對那一種屬性的銀行的獲利是相對有利。

    跟據本研究的研究期間、研究樣本與研究模型,其實證結果發現大陸地區的商業銀行確有回歸傳統零售業務的趨勢,在此回歸零售業務的趨勢下中國大陸地區較有利的商業銀行為大資產規模的銀行,對小資產規模的銀行則會帶來低的股東權益報酬率;而在獲利能力分類下,對中國大陸商業銀行而言高獲利能力及低獲利能力的銀行經營零售業務皆有獲利,並無太大區別。

    藉由以上的實證結果,本研究對大陸商業銀行做出建議大資產規模銀行應利用此波回歸趨勢,收購本土小型商業銀行擴大規模,成為全球化的大型銀行,提升國際化的程度。
    This research is based on the time during 2000 to 2007. Attempt to introduce the opinion of Hirtle and Stiroh(2007) research model of return to retail banking. We applied the definition of retail variable of Clark et al.(2007), and use the classification of bank sort of Hirtle(2007)to set up main kind of analyzing models. We took 10 commercial banks in China as object of study and then conferred on if china bank industry had return to retail banking. Under the trend of returning to retail banking, we studied which bank sort will have more beneficial.

    According to the object, period and model of this research, we find that China’s commercial bank had return to retail banking. Under the trend of returning to retail banking, large bank are superior in reaping profits among commercial banks in China. As the classification of profitability, there is no differentiation between it.

    As the result of regression, we suggest that China’s large commercial bank should merger and acquisition there local small bank to expand the bank size, become the global largest bang, level up the globalization degree.
