Digital natives mean those people who were born after 1980s that internet and technology are popularized (Prensky, 2001). The purposes of this study were (1) to explore the consideration factors of influencing digital natives’ information behavior, and (2) to explore if the consideration factors have differences between digital natives with different background variables. Based on the literature review, this study generalized 7 main consideration factors which included: (1) attitude toward the information, (2) barriers & Facilitating Conditions, (3) written Information Sifting, (4) social Influences, (5) information Collecting, (6) internet Information Sifting, (7) interaction with others by internet. This study took the undergraduate students from Tamsui campus of Tamkang University as example of digital natives. The study adopted survey as the research method. By using stratified sampling, there were 1200 questionnaires sent out to target students and the vaild returned rate was 92.3%. The reliability of Cronbach α of the questionnaires is .88.
The results of this study were summarized as below:
    1. Digital natives prefered to use technology to collect information they need.
    2. Digital natives’ information behavior might be influenced by the factor of Barriers & Facilitating Conditions.
    3. Digital natives prefered to use technology to search information, but they still believed the accuracy of written information was higher than internet information.
    4. The information behavior of Digital natives might be influenced by external factors.
    5. Digital natives more likely prefered to use media technology in collecting information rather than to use traditional newspapers.
    6. Digital natives in general did not agree that the information from the internet was accurate and reliable.
    7. Digital natives prefered to interact with others through internet.
    8. There were significant differences among information behaviors from different backgrounds.
    (1) Barriers & Facilitating Conditions, and Social Influences and Information Collecting of females were significant than males; However, Internet Information Sifting of males was significant than that of females.
    (2) As for Attitude toward the Information and Barriers & Facilitating Conditions, Students from College of Business, College of Management and College of Engineering were significant than students from College of Foreign Language. Students from College of Management were significant than students of College of Liberal Arts on Attitude toward the Information and Internet Information Sifting.
    (3) As for Attitude toward the Information and Written Information, students whose parents above Bachelor Degree were significant than those below elementary degree.
    (4) As for Attitude toward information, digital natives whose accommodation was equipped with computers were significant than those not equipped with computers.
    (5) As for Written Information Sifting, digital natives whose accommodation was equipped with internet were apparently significant than those whose accommodation was not equipped with internet.
    (6) As for Information Collecting, digital natives who had experienced technology for 6-11 years and over 21 years were significant than those who had experienced for 16-21 years.
    (7) As for Information Collecting, digital natives had apparently significant differences on daily use time of technology.
Based on the research results, the study provided several suggestions for students, instructors, and future research.
