    Abstract: 本研究旨在探討臺北縣國民中學輔導教師角色壓力與專業承諾之現況、了解不同背景之國民中學輔導教師在角色壓力與專業承諾是否有差異、國民中學輔導教師在角色壓力與專業承諾之相關情形,以供教育主關機關及學校推動輔導工作之參考。
    本研究採取問卷調查法進行研究。首先蒐集相關文獻加以探討分析,據以建立研究架構;再進行研究工具的修訂與預試;根據預試分析結果發展本研究之研究工具-「臺北縣國民中學輔導教師角色壓力與專業承諾調查問卷」,最後以問卷調查法進行實證資料的蒐集。以臺北縣國民中學輔導教師共312人為研究樣本,實施問卷調查,問卷回收244份,有效問卷239份,可用率為76.60%。將回收問卷所得之實證資料,經描述統計、獨立樣本t考驗、單因子變異數分析及Bonferroni method事後比較、皮爾遜積差相關等統計分析,歸納研究結論如下:
    一、國民中學輔導教師感受中等程度的角色壓力,其中以「角色(量)過度負荷」的感受最
    高。
    二、國民中學輔導教師普遍具有良好的專業承諾,其中以「專業認同」表現最佳。
    三、國民中學輔導教師角色壓力會因年齡、教育程度、教育背景、擔任職務、學校規模、
    學校所在地區之不同而有顯著差異。
    四、國民中學輔導教師專業承諾會因年齡、教育程度、教育背景、擔任職務之不同而有
    顯著差異。
    五、國民中學輔導教師角色壓力與專業承諾整體呈負相關。
    最後,研究者依據本研究結果加以討論,並提出具體建議,以供教育主管機關、師資培育單位、學校輔導人員及未來研究之參考。
    This study aimed at finding out the current situations of role stress and professional commitments of junior high school counselors in Taipei County.The variables of junior high school counselors were discussed and the results from this study will provide suggestions as references for educational authorities to improve school practice.
    The research adopts questionnaire survey. This study is administrated by literature review and discussion to build the research structure. Furthermore, pretest the research tools and analyze it’s results to employ The Questionnaire of Role Stress and Professional Commitments of Junior High School Counselors in Taipei County.Finally, use the questionnaire to collect the instances and data. 312 Questionnaire was randomly conducted to the junior high school counselors of Taipei City . There are 244 copies of questionnaire collected, and 239 as valid. The validity rate is 76.60%. The statistical methodologies in this study include descriptive statistics,independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Bonferroni method, and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation.
    Finding of this study were as follows:
    1. The role stress for junior high school counselors is medium degree, in which " The role of excessive workload burden", the feelings of the highest.
    2. Junior high school counselors generally have a good professional commitments, in which "professional identity" the best performance.
    3. Role stresses were significantly different among junior high school counselors of different age, educational levels, educational background, job duties, school sizes and school areas.
    4. Professional commitments were significantly different among junior high school counselors of different age, educational levels, educational background and job duties.
    5. There is positive correlation between role stress and professional commitments of junior high school counselors.
    Suggestions for future studies were made. Educational administrators, school counselor training institutions, as well as educational implications for junior high school counselors were discussed based on the results.
