| 摘要: | 一、做為中國大陸的七大經濟區塊之一，「海峽西岸經濟區」（簡稱為「海西區」）是專門為台灣所量身訂做的，深受中國大陸中央政府的支持與奧援。同時，它也是中國大陸的七大經濟區塊中，成立時間最短，且政治力介入最明顯的經濟區塊。
二、「海西區」的範圍，是以福建省為主體，包含浙江省南部，江西省南部，以及廣東省東部，共約25萬平方公里，人口近9000萬人，人年均收入達2800美金，和台灣在地緣、血緣上的關係非常親近。
三、目前中國大陸推動『海西區』的主要構想，包含有「區域經濟整合」和對台實行「經濟統戰」的兩種主要的戰略思維。並企圖以加強閩台的經貿交流、推動兩岸直接三通、拓展兩岸農業合作和建構兩岸交流管道的方式，以達成上述的戰略目標。
四、對台灣而言，和『海西區』加強經貿往來，不但有益於台灣的金融業的發展，且能讓『海西區』成為兩岸「小三通」的腹地，以及「兩岸共同市場」的實業區。
五、到目前為止，「海西區」與台灣之間的經貿往來雖然日益活絡，但是受限於台灣內部的政黨對立、「海西區」本身在基礎建設上的不足，和拓展市場與腹地時所受到的限制，其前景仍有疑慮。

Thesis Abstract: One of seven parts economics of mainland China, it’s special area calls “ the Pacific Ocean Western economic location”（it abbreviation calls “Western economic location”）, the location is China government giving deeply support economics and establish shortest. Also, political affairs add the economy parts.
The main Western economic location is Fu-Jian province. The location includes Zhe-Jing, Jing-Xi, and Kung-dong. The measure has 250 thousand Square kilometers. The populations are 9 billions, the income of the people has 28 billions. And, this area close in Taiwan because they are relative each other.
Right now, the China”The Special economic zone of Taiwan Straits west bank” main ideas and opinions are two:Combination location with economics, and the war economics. People attempt to strong Taiwan and China economics communication, through two areas can collaborate of agricultures, and business. For Taiwan, the business with Western economic location can strong Taiwan’s finance development; also, can through two locations combination markets. It is goods for each other benefits and advantages.
