在全球化急速的發展下,長久以來各國持續地討論著關於多文化和平共存的議題。儘管如此,到現在我們仍無法完全肯定的說多文化共存的理念已完全扎根。在價值觀多樣化的今日,學校的教育該如何的應變,以及如何當今社會的狀況等等,都需要用多文化多元主義的角度來探討。 多文化理解並非只是了解其他國家和其他文化為中心的教育,更包含了拓展國際的視野,體會身為地球市民的連帶關係,相互依存性,和平及人權乃至於環境等等觀念意識的培養。另外,為了達到地球市民的和平共存,更必須培育對於異文化的開放態度以及溝通能力。當中,為了促進人們之間的相互理解,溝通能力的培育極為重要。 另外,要達到多文化共存社會的實現,語言能力影響著不同文化背景居民之間的關係延伸。市民或是定居外國人都是當地社會的一員,為了雙方都能安穩生活,消除語言或者是溝通上的障礙成了環境整備的一大課題。尤其在孩童的教育環境中,語言教育可以說是最重要的課題之一。 以社會中少數語言的族群為對象所採取的主流語言教育的施策方法是探討多元文化主義其本質時重要的課題。藉由了解主流語言教育的現狀,可以得知明確得知教育在多文化主義實現中發揮了甚麼樣的作用。語言教育不僅僅是教育,還牽連著孩童們的自我意識,因此課程內容若只是為了讓那些少數語言的族群適應主流社會,那麼就像是以同化的方式使少數族群融入多數族群的文化,稱不上是多文化教育。 本論文在探討多文化共存時代下,以台灣和日本為主要研究對象的語言學習現況。 All countries have been discussing the topic regarding the peaceful multicultural coexistence for a long time under the rapid development globally. Even so, we cannot still be totally sure that the concept of multicultural coexistence has been deeply rooted in the ground until now. In today with diversified values, we need to discuss how the school education to deal with the emergency and the current status of the society from the viewpoint of the cultural pluralism. Multicultural realization is not only to understand the other countries’ culture-oriented education but also to expend the international eyesight, to realize the relationship and coexistence between the global citizens and to learn some consciousness, such as peace, human right and environment. Additionally, in order to achieve the peaceful coexistence of global citizen, we have to learn the open attitude and the ability of communication. Also, in order to promote mutual understanding, learning the ability of communication is more important. Besides, the language ability influences the people with the different cultural background. No matter local people or foreigners, both they belong to this society. In order to live stably, it is a big issue to eliminate the language or communication barrier. Especially in the children’s educational environment, the language education is the most important. The minority-oriented measures of the mainstream language education are the most important when we discuss the essentials of cultural pluralism. We can know clearly how cultural pluralism affects us by understanding the status of mainstream education. Language education is not only education but also a factor to affect children’s self-consciousness. Therefore, it is not so-called multicultural education if the content of the course adapt the minority to the mainstream society just like assimilation. The purpose of the thesis is to discuss the status of language learning in Taiwan and Japan in the era of multicultural coexistence.
