    摘要: 1985年,比利時當代法語作家圖森的處女作《浴室》讓法國子夜出版社大為驚豔,出版後更在法國創下一天銷售55,000冊的驚人記錄,截至目前已有超過25國語言的翻譯本。其賣座的原因在於道出了世人的心聲及社會現象,也反映出普遍存在於現代人心中的「焦慮」。且又因為它的書寫具有「新小說」及「新新小說」的風格,加以其美學的呈現又兼具「後現代」趣味,而成為當代文學作品的典範。
    本論文除了將「圖森三部曲」(《浴室》、《先生》、《照相機》)與「後現代性」做連結,探討其彼此之異同外,另一個重點則是找出在20世紀60年代興起的「新小說」、「新新小說」與「後現代小說」如何在這個遭逢劇變(經歷了兩次世界大戰)、充滿矛盾的時代(物質文明迅速發展與精神文明萎靡產生嚴重落差)替世人娓娓道出與社會的疏離感及個人的孤獨感,並且如何在闡釋當代焦慮的當下為世人找到精神上的救贖,也找到出口。
    本論文共分為四個章節:第一章是「後現代主義」的內涵,描述「後現代主義」興起時間及四個衍化階段;第二章「後現代主義」的時代意義;第三章「後現代主義文學」的表現形式,從「後現代主義文學」的基本特徵以及「現代小說」、「新小說」、「後現代小說」的比較著手;最後是《圖森三部曲》中的後現代性,透過比較《浴室》、《先生》、《照相機》的異同以及「從『異化』到『疏離』」、「從『自我放逐』到『流動』」來體現出《圖森三部曲》所呈現的「流動性」及「後現代美學」。
    In 1985, The Bathroom of the Belgian writer Jean-Phiilppe Toussaint caught the attention of Les Editions de Minuit, after it was published, he created the incredible sales of 55,000 books, and now The Bathroom has more 25 languages translation. The reason why it has superb sales is that it expresses the anxiety that usually exists in the modern world. In addition, writing in The Bathroom has the style of the Nouveau Roman and Tel Quel at once, and esthetic presentation also has a taste of post-modernism, which is why he is the model of literature contemporary.
    In this thesis, apart from creating a link between the bathrooms, Sir, the camera and post-modernity to find the common difference and the other is important to discover how new novel Tel Quel, and postmodern fiction express the alienation between the world and the social and personal solitude under the age who is experiencing changes (after having experienced two world wars) and age that is full of contradictions (the increase high material civilization and the rapid decline of spiritual civilization), and how they report the alienation of the modern world by finding the exit of the mind to the world.
    There are four chapters in this thesis, the first chapter is the meaning of post-modernism, it tells the origin of post-modernism and the four stages of development. The second is the zeitgeist of post-modernism, the third is the form to express the post-modern literature, we begin the characteristics of postmodern literature and the comparison between modern fiction, new novel, and postmodern fiction. The final chapter is post-modernity from Jean-Philippe Toussaint, this chapter will show the fluidity and post-modern esthetic for the comparison between the bathrooms, Sir, relating to equipment and cameras, From Absurdity the Alienation and Alienation From the Flow.
