摘要: This research discusses the effect of melt temperature (200, 240, and 270°C) and injection speed (18, 25, and 35%) on orientation distribution and weight fraction of aluminum flakes in ABS+20wt%PC plates. Aluminum flake's aspect ratio increases with melt temperature but is not influenced by injection speed. The weight fraction of aluminum flakes is higher in the core layer than in the surface layer but is not influenced by injection speed. Conversely, the weight fraction of aluminum flakes in the surface layer is inversely proportional to both injection speed and melt temperature. For molds with long flow path from a single-point sprue, aluminum flakes tend to congregate into piles in the surface layer, and the weight fraction of aluminum flakes decreases with increasing injection distance. Aluminum flakes are oriented randomly on the outer side of the bolt hole, but along the direction of flow on the inner side of the bolt hole.
