    Abstract: 6-Substituted amino-2,4-diaminopyrimidine derivatives were prepared by one-pot synthesis using ketene dithioacetals, amine compounds, and guanidine carbonate in pyridine. These pyrimidine products displayed blue fluorescence in the solid state.
