Introduction: 本處於民國四十三年成立，當時稱為主計室，隨著本校組織的發展與沿革，而更名為會計組(設於總務處之下)、財務處、會計室、會計處。自民國八十四年八月又改稱為會計室迄今，為本校一級單位，設會計一組、會計二組、預算組、稽核組，共有人員十五人。於2011年08月更名為財務處，原下設之會計一組、會計二組、預算組、稽核組同時變更為會計組、審核組與預算組。
Office of Finance was established in 1954, including four sections and 15 staff. To meet Tamkang University's philosophy of higher education, to enhance the promotion of its three objectives-Globalization, Information-oriented Education, and Future-oriented Education, as well as to increase the quality of teaching, research, and service, Office of the Comptroller adopts sound financial management system which includes Budget Management Operating System, Accounting Computer Operating System, Individual Income Tax Computer Operating System, and two Auditing Operating Systems. Based on this system, all the accounting-related affairs can be completed rapidly, accurately, and efficiently.
