Introduction: 教務處是遵照學校方針，支援教學的一個行政單位，從創校初期開始至今，一直是學校最重要的單位之一。自一九五○年成立淡江英語專科學校至一九五八年改制為淡江文理學院初期，設有註冊、課務、印務三組及圖書館，其中圖書館於民國五十四年起因服務業務急遽增加而升格為一級單位。 一九六二年本校設立夜間部，因學生人數增多，教務處在城區部另設有教務組辦理夜間部學生之成績、學籍及課務等教務工作。隨著夜間部(一九八四年改為夜間學院)學系及學生人數之大量成長，夜間部於一九八七年全部回校本部(現為淡水校園)，原教務處夜間部教務組亦隨之遷回淡水校園，並進行重新改組，取消教務組另設研究生教務組，以辦理研究生之學籍、成績、課務、試務等相關業務，2004年因應組織重整教學科技組改隸本處。
