簡介：「資訊創新與科技學系」於98年8月合併原創立於94年8月的「資訊軟體學系」及「資訊通訊科技管理學系」而設立，並延續前兩系的創立精神與特色，提供「軟體工程組」與「通訊科技組」專業領域的教學與研究發展服務，強調創新資訊科技發展與管理的養成與應用。「軟體工程組」強調資訊軟體發展與管理能力及全球化視野之全人教育的養成，意在培育符合國內外未來市場對跨領域相關人才之需求。「通訊科技組」則著重於培育學生創新資訊與通訊科技的發展與管理知識，強調人本管理並重，培養學生全方位的視野與人格特質。
Combined from the department of Software Engineering and the Department of Information and Communication Technology Management (both founded in August, 2005) and established on August 1, 2009, the department of Innovative Information and Technology continues to provide four-year undergraduate students with both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise on the information and communication management technology and the software development and management areas. Our curriculum focuses on four major fields: Software Engineering (Software Development and Management), Intelligent Information, Network Communications and the Integration of Enterprise information. The new Department strives to further the development of intelligent information theory and technology and it successful innovative applications on business and industry. In addition to the innovative, reliable, and integrated technologies solutions, quality services, and information resources, the primary mission of this department aims to provide students a basic understanding of the principles of the discipline, as well as the ways and norms of a responsible citizen. Therefore, the department emphasizes the importance of what a complete education is thought to be, not just the training of high-level computer-related professionals.
