    Abstract: 薄膜結垢問題是薄膜蒸餾海水淡化程序中最急需解決的困擾。本研究計畫將對薄膜蒸餾程序中鹽水濃度對薄膜結垢之影響及其改善提出探討,具有關鍵之重要性。本二年期研究計畫為前一年研究計畫之延續;前一年研究計畫探討薄膜蒸餾程序中,薄膜結垢形成之機制,以了解鹽水濃度及其他操作參數對結垢之影響。本二年期研究計畫之研究重點包括有:(1)探討薄膜蒸餾系統中進料側之流場型態對降低薄膜結垢之影響,以提升蒸餾程序之性能;(2)探討清洗薄膜結垢之方法,建立薄膜清洗之流程,以延長薄膜使用期限,降低操作成本。本研究計畫之成果,除可提供做為薄膜合成及改質之參佐,最佳操作參數設定及清洗流程之建立,可提升薄膜蒸餾程序的性能,使總體系統化設計更具有競爭性及經濟效益。 Membrane fouling problem is an urgent event that needed to be solved in the membrane distillation process for sea water desalination. The effect of salts concentration on the membrane fouling in membrane distillation and its improvement will be studied in this proposal. This two-year proposal is the extended study of the previous year proposal. The fouling mechanics of salts in the membrane distillation under various operating parameters have been studied in the previous proposal. The main topics of this two-year proposal are: (1) The effect of feed side flow pattern on the prevent of membrane fouling will be studied in order to enhance the performance of membrane distillation; and (2) The cleaning method for membrane fouling of membrane distillation will be studied in order to establish a procedure for cleaning the membrane fouling. A good membrane cleaning can prolong the using life of membrane and reduce the operating cost. In addition to be applied in membrane synthesis or modification for membrane distillation, the results of this project can be used in the systematical design for a high performance of membrane distillation..
