| 摘要: | 按本計劃原為96 年度所提出之三年期計畫，由於當年度只獲核定第一年，評審委 員裁定俟第一年成果報告提出後，再提後續研究。本年度(97)已如期提出第一年期之成 果報告，故本次承續第一年期計畫之完成，再續提第二年期及第三年期之研究。 本計劃擬針對身體觀（身體本位展現）、及身體感（與外界互動關係）等多重角度 之分析，全面探討古典短篇文言小說如何呈現古人對於身體之想像。由於此身體現象之 展演，乃是透過小說敘事機制得以呈現，只存在於小說文本之內，它也許同於現實社會 之實況，但更可能只是社會某種面向之限度呈現，故計畫命題強調「身體的『想像』」， 以凸顯分析文本之文類特質與身體現象結論間之絕對關係。 本計畫擬從以下幾個角度切入解析開展命題：（一）身體之狀態：身體之姿態往往 成為小說敍事者最先注目觀看之物件，本項目旨在分析敘事者如何觀看身體、並建立小 說敍事所呈現之身體美學。（二）身體之功能：此所謂「功能」有二種意義，一是指相 對於前者之靜態呈現，本項目分析身體之動態功能，解析身體做為人之外顯形軀，及行 動力之載體，其如何與內在之「心」或「情」「意」「才」「識」配合，以實踐主體之 意志或行為目標；一是指身體在小說敍事中，在情節之推動上，具有何種功能性意義。 （三）身體之界限：相對於前二者針對身體之本位分析，本項目以身體為主體，分析其 與外在世界之互動關係，由以下角度切入：一是個人意志或行為對外在世界之干涉能 力，一是生命體對於周遭境遇（包括人際與社會）之容受程度。（四）身體之巫術：相 對於前者觀察身體與現實社會之互動關係，本項目觀察身體所展現出對非現實性空間或 狀態之感知能力。 本計畫擬以魏晉到清之短篇文言小說為分析文本，分三年三階段進行，依序為魏晉 （第一年期：已完成此期研究，並已提交成果報告）、唐宋（第二年期）、及明清（第三 年期）。此三段時代區分之意義在於其分別標示了古典小說不同之發展階段：魏晉為小 說之起源期、唐為發展期、宋為過渡期、明清為成熟期，由於各階段之文化思想風格有 別，表現於文本之敍事結構亦有所異，自然應視小說發展及其條件之差異性而進行階段 性之分析。其中宋代，由於短篇文言小說在整體表現上，無法超出唐人的之規模與成就， 故將附於唐代之後作為附論。最後要強調的是，本計畫中所指之「身體」，唯以小說中 現實世界之「人」為範疇，不包括其他具有神仙妖鬼物等性質者。 The purpose of this plan is to study the “Body Imagination” of classical literary novels. The analyses will be done from multiple points of view, such as body’s intrinsic performance and the interaction with external society. This plan draws up introducing the proposition from the following aspects:（1）Status of the body, being observed by the narrators to demonstrate the body esthetics,（2）Functions of the body, being analyzed how the intrinsic sensibilities, such as mind, feeling, will, talent, and knowledge project to body behaviors in novels,（3）Limitations of the body, illustrating the mutual relationships with external society, as well as the degree of social interference, （4）Witchcraft of the body, reflecting the non-realistic body imaginations to surpass the social limitations. This plan proposes three evolution stages to carry on by spending three years to research . The corresponding three stages are claasified according to their culture styles and narrative structures： the novels in Wei and Jin Dynasties as the original phase, the novels in Tang as the development phase, and the novels in Ming and Qing as the mature phase. However, the novels in Song and Yuan can be attached in Tang because their total performance couldn’t surpass Tang’s scale and achievement. The whole picture of human body imagination will be presented by comprehensively discussed in the classical literary novels. |
