    Abstract: In this paper, we design a central code controller for the FO–CDMA network. The central code controller assigns the lowest interference code set to users, and the code set is selected by the genetic algorithm. By this methodology, the code set can be found exactly, and the computing time is much faster than with the heuristic solution.
