    Abstract: 本研究針對高分子複合材料在太空環境使用之劣化問題,探討低溫及輻射之效應,選定研究之材料爲碳纖維補強環氧樹脂複合材料,實驗結果顯示低溫(77K)及鈷-60照射均會造成此高分子複合材料機械強度減弱,對於已受高輻射劑量劣化之試片再經後退火處理,會在環氧樹脂基材形成許多小氣泡,而使機械強度更加大幅下降,未受輻射劣化或輻射劑量較低之試片,後退火處理無影響。
    The efforts of this study were concerned with the degradation of polymer composite materials used in space environment. The investigations were focused on the low temperature and radiation damage effects. The material selected for study was carbon fiber reinforced epoxy composite. Experimental results showed that both low temperature (77K) and Co-60 radiation caused the decrease of mechanical strength of this polymer composite. For the highly radiation-degraded specimens, post-annealing treatment caused the formation of bubbles in epoxy matrix and the further weakening of the material. For the specimen with minor or without radiation, post-annealing treatment showed no influence for mechanical properties.
