A pdf (probability density function) model of turbulent shear flows developed by present authors was successfully applied to analyze turbulent plane shear layer, plane jet and round jet flows. The high order momentum fluctuation co-relations were revealed via pdf description. The calculated distributions were compared with that of the available experimental data in a good agreement. The pdf model was further extended to describe reacting flows and was discussed at present paper both physically and mathematically. A solution method was also proposed in the paper.
