A synchronous frame current regulator with voltage compensation to eliminate the steady state current error is presented in this paper. Two compensations are added to the voltage command, one is to decouple the Emf voltage of the motor, and the other is to compensate for the stator resistance and leakage losses. In theory, the current regulator can achieve zero magnitude and phase error at any excitation frequency and load. Both the theoretical analysis and the experimental verifications are performed to verify the control scheme.
