本文除闡述動態撓度試驗於鋪面之發展與應用外，更針對鋪面材料之物性：包括厚度彈性模數，對不同道路結構系統試驗撓度值所產生之影響；以及對傳統的靜態試驗數據演繹方式所衍生的干擾進行理論評估，以瞭解不同試驗的適用特性。研究顯示鋪面動態特性不容忽視，當岩盤處於較深位置時（>30m），傳統回算方法所得數據將有高估之現象。就穩定試驗而言，回算程式MODULUS 可適用於柔性、剛性鋪面之檢驗，而程式WESDEF及BISDEF 則僅適合柔性路面使用；其施載振頻均以較小者為佳。由是項研究發現，藉由衝擊性試驗之頻譜分析和依據改變穩定試驗施測頻率所建立之位移頻譜，可定義特徵頻率供了解岩盤深度或高材料對比介面所在位置使用。In this paper, nondestructive deflection tests in evaluating the structural capacity of pavements are introduced. Discussions on theoretical modeling of these tests and the factors that may affect the measurements and interpretations, such as the layer thickness and modulus as well as the bedrock, are made to reveal the availability of the tests. Results of the deflection studies indicate that the dynamic nature of a pavement is important; for most of the pavements where the bedrock is relatively deep (>30m ) , the conventional static interpretation may overestimate the pavement structural capacity. Backcalculation program NODULUS is found conditionally appropriate for steady-state measurements on flexible and rigid pavements. Programs WESDEF and BISDEF are adequate only for steady-state tests on flexible pavements with small loading frequency. For possible applications of these tests, spectral analysis of the impulsive test records and displacement spectrum from the steady-state tests with different operating frequencies are proposed. A characteristic frequency is suggested in estimating the bedrock location and the layer interface with high material contrast.
