    Abstract: A new integral approximation formula for kinetic analysis of non-isothermal data is developed. A critical comparison of various approximation methods is made. It is shown that the present approximation is by far the most accurate. Over the entire ranges of parameters of interest (3.70≦E/ RT≦100.23), the deviations for the present approximation are negligibly small. The maximum deviation occurs at E/RT=3.10, and is only - 0.078%. The present formula also retains the simple form for easy analysis.
