社會運動是一種獨特的集體現象與行為,也是一種典型以語藝策略和論述達成說服的過程,而社會運動的內涵正是社會互動的一種語藝產物。本文以「語藝批評」的觀點,探討民進黨自1986年創黨至1994年間所發動之共十三次社會運動的語藝意涵與策略。分析資料顯示,民進黨社會運動的訴求,雖然隨著圍內社會情勢的變遷而略有不同,但其運動的語藝策略卻始終依循著「反壓迫與抗爭」的主軸發展,主要採取「突破政治禁忌、追討政治債權、尋求光明願景」的語藝策略,這也是其進行政治說服時,不分階段之最主要的語藝論述主體。至於「推翻舊體制,建立新社會」則是其所建構的語藝視野。 Social movements are a special collective phenomenon and behavior. And they are a typical example using a process of rhetorical strategy and discourse to achieve persuasion. In other words, the content of the social movements is a rhetorical artifact. This study adopts a perspective of rhetorical criticism, to explore the written discourse of rhetorical intension and strategy of the DPP's thirteen social movements spanning from 1986 to 1994. The data analyzed shows that the topics and appeals of the DPP's social movements were still slightly different, followed the general changes of the social circumstances, yet the rhetorical strategy of the movements always pursued the main idea of "rebel against authoritative oppression and fight". Even so the persuasive force of the social movements is largely derived from "overcome political taboo, regain political rights, and seek for a brighter future". After all, "Overturn the old system and build a new society" constitutes the rhetorical view constructed by DPP's social movements.
