摘要: The best-selling Harry Potter series of children books by J. K. Rowling tops the list of books most challenged. The series draw complaints from parents and others concerned about the books. Alleged occult/Satanic theme, religious viewpoint, anti-family approach and violence. Some think he's a bad influence on their kids, promotes an immoral lifestyle, and should be banned from elementary schools and children's libraries. But not everyone banned Harry. The Harry Potter series has received praise from many teachers and librarians, who say they have renewed children's interest in reading. Be a librarian, what should we do in this situation? Is it our duty to educate our library client in all aspects of literature, all aspects of thoughts in Taiwan? This article discussed about this case.
