    Abstract: Impacts of the information technology in Iibrary management have been extensively discussed within the academic libraries. The computer-based library system on the housekeeping procedures, CD-ROM in online databases, and even the issue using expert system on the library technical processing, etc. Organizations of the computer and telecommunication technologies will enhance the capabilities of resource sharing among the library networks. The Open System Interconnection (OS1) is strongly recommended in this paper as a standard of the networking communication protocol in the various computer environments. Several problems raised in the conclusion that the Iibraries or librarianship are expected to solve as they are facing the future development.
