Electronic performance support systems (EPSS) are systems which use technology to integrate resources and tools and to facilitate working on complex tasks. Today, technology is advancing so rapidly that training systems are increasingly intelligent and mobile. This report details the results of an evaluation of multimedia, computer-based training modules produced by COMET for use by operational forecasters. The purpose of the evaluation was to examine the training modules as they were implemented and used to determine if the design and structure of the modules can be improved to enhance acceptance, implementation, and operational effectiveness.
