    Abstract: While interaction may be the primary contributor to the effectiveness of CBI (Computer Based Instruction), individualization is largely responsible for its efficiency. In more extensive CBI lessons, it is theoretically possible that no two students will pass through exactly the same information in the same sequence. In this paper, the author stresses that individualization may and should be used to make CBI lessons more friendly, more interesting, more relevant, and more efficient.
