    Abstract: Shwu Si's invention of "blending poems into lyrics" creates the heroic type of lyrics. And literature history in the past has given such new founding a high esteem in different aspects. The article is aimed at discussing the issues concerning the correlation between poems and lyrics, and the status of the literature and music in Chinese culture. The first chapter deals with the aesthetic principles of lyrics. The second deals with Dwueng Pwuo's mastering of lyrics. The third focus upon the disintegration of songs and lyrics. The fourth gives an account of the changing of styles in lyrics. The last chapter concludes that Dwueng Pwuo though deepens the lyrics' expressions in words, yet narrows its musical richness.歷來論詞總以蘇軾為豪放文人詞之代表,尤其在詞史上因蘇軾的詞作及其影響,改變詞的原始美學條件,所造成文類的異化現象,不僅影響到後代的詞作本質,更使得詩、詞兩種文類交互感通,引起文學史上常見所謂本色與變異的爭論。當然東坡詞在中國文學史上自有其特殊的價值, 不管詩、詞、文、書畫均有其不可取代的地位。然而其地位的重要性,並不只限於發揮原始藝術的美學成就,而是博採縱取不同藝術的特色之後,以其個人的生命觀照所形成的新的美學觀點,詩的開展是如此; 總結古文八大家的成就是如此;開創文人畫派是如此;文人詞的形成更是如此。是以,論述東坡詞在文學史上的價值時,其對詞的美學認知、創作手法及觀念變革等,所引起所謂「以詩為詞」的命題,就顯得特別有意義了。文學史家對東坡詞的論述多從其詞作與音樂的分離、詞境擴大及詞的詩化等方面來論其作品。,其實這些論述也都是在「以詩為詞」的創作理念下所引發出來現象。是以本文即以東坡「以詩為詞」在文學史上的問題為主, 討論此一文類感通所造成的涵化現象及其衍生而來的相關問題。 Shwu Si's invention of "blending poems into lyrics" creates the heroic type of lyrics.
