Abstract:	作家雲菁196年代以留學生身份出國，適逢所謂「留學生文學」時期。不同於《文學雜誌》與《現代文學》雜誌的留學生作家，雲菁作品皆由《皇冠》發行，可謂兼具「留學生文學」與「大眾文學」特質。《皇冠》雜誌展現部分早年上海消遣性質的大眾文學風格，在刊登留學生文學部分，不侷限於思鄉苦悶的故事，也有輕鬆小品。雲菁作品可依生活地點，分為「美國本土」與「夏威夷」兩個階段。作品主題也從「思鄉愁」與「孤怨」，擴展到人生「聚散無常」與「夏威夷風情」故事。
