Abstract:	網路普及後網路上的中文線上目錄系統急遽增加，成為新興的資源。本文以台灣一般讀者使用的網路環境為例，連線中國大陸、香港、新加坡、澳大利亞大學圖書館的中文線上目錄系統，探討應用這類資源應注意的事項，結果發現受系統字集、系統信息、檢索功能、編目用語、著錄的字體、主題表、分類法等因素的影響，網路上的中文線上目錄系統差異極大，讀者如欲有效應用，須留意上列事項。另為方便網路上廣大讀者使用，本文建議各館的系統加註簡介，另編目用語與著錄的字體應力求一致化。最後提出以權威紀錄簡化中、英雙語著錄的中文目錄資料，及重新評估CMARC中、英雙語著錄的方式。
