Abstract:	西元1991年教育部建立了臺灣學術綱路(TANet)並串連Internet，此舉爲台灣地區學術界架起高速的資訊溝通管道，資訊傳輸的方法隨之蛻變，在此變化中，國際文件傳遞(document delivery)服務受到的衝擊最大。文件傳遞主要包括電子及紙本文件兩種。本文就這兩方面探討Internet對圖書館提供國際文件傳遞服務的影響，結果發現電子文件的傳遞己無時、空障礙，即全球同步；而紙本文件的傳遞，本文以傳遞送作爲研究挔據，結果顯示，國圖書館間的互濟在供應率方面爲38%，還度爲平均每篇文章71小時，費用爲平均每篇91元；而國際資訊商供應率以BLDSC最高達88%，速率的亦以BLDSC最快達13.2小時；費用則以FirstSearch最便宜，爲529元。在取用最新期刊原文時效上，則國內、外相差約30至40天。至於使用者利用此項服務的意願皆因價格的高昂而有所保留。
