Abstract:	學術研究機構評估個人研究成果，圖書館選購期刊，多會利用期刊引用報告（Journal Citation Reports JCR）的引用數據做為評鑑的準則。本研究旨在探討JCR中一般內科醫學及外科醫學各種期刊之引用數據，分析各數值所代表的意義，並利用皮爾森積差相關係數比較其間的相互關係，以深入了解二主題期刊之特性與引用數據的意義。研究結果發現，二學科期刊數據的分佈情形雖大致相同，但因學科的差異故亦呈現出不同特性；在相關分析中，二學科期刊刊載文章篇數、期刊被引用次數、影響係數與即時引用指數問具有較高度的正相關，整體而言，上述變項彼此之相關性，一般內科醫學比外科醫學來得顯著。
