Homeschooling has become one of the popular alternative options for parents in Taiwan who are concerned of the traditional school environment for varied reasons. The increasing number of homeschool families brings challenges to the existing educational system as well as information communities. To understand the fundamentals of homeschoolers’ information behavior, a case study is carried out and a personal information architecture (PIA) is proposed as the result of the analysis.
