    Abstract: 學位論文在發行上，面臨了電子化需求之衝擊，因此藉美國之「網路碩博士論文數位化圖書館（Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations；NDLTD）」與美國維吉尼亞技術學院（Virginia Tech）為主之電子碩博士論文（Electronic Theses and Dissertation；ETD）相關計畫為探討實例，並就其所涉及之商業機制與發展前瞻，做政策研擬與實務之省思為本文重點。商業機制之涉入學位論文出版自然是時勢之所趨。任何出版單位（不論是大學抑或商業機構）在執行論文提交作業時，提供作者明確的著作權說明文件，將權利與義務釐清是極其重要的。解決電子化之學位論文之道除了藉助可能之出版機構之政策統籌規範外，仍在於何者能真正滿足作者之需要，以及確實尊重作者之權益。
