Abstract:	噍吧哖事件發生於一九一五年，是臺灣人民最後一次以武力為手段的抗日行動，由顧日本軍警年事件中進行焚莊屠殺之暴行，造成當地人民慘遭大量死亡，但是，因為架辭政府刻意隱瞞，致使大屠殺之真相無法呈現。本文利用一九一五年當地的「戶口調查簿」及「戶口調查除戶簿」等第一手史料，逐戶清查、比對與統計，終於證明日本軍警確實有屠殺村民的行為，並統計出較正確的被殺害人數，還原長久以來被湮沒的大屠殺真相。
