    Abstract: 陡坡渠道之流況自上游往下游可分為: (1)勢能流段,(2)氣泡發展段,(3)氣泡完全發 展段,以及(4)氣泡均勻流段。本研究係應用因 次分析法探討各流況因子間之相互關係。配合 試驗數據之驗證,推估白水起始點之發生位置 ,同時對陡坡渠道在各種不同流量,坡度和糙度 下因夾氣所改變之阻力及水深加以研究。更應 用多變數同軸相關繪圖法求得含氣水流之特性 水力半徑並修正曼寧粗糙係數以為工程人員設 計應用參考。
    The open channel chute flow are generally classified into four different regions: (1) the potential flow region, (2) the air developed region, (3) the fully aerated region, and (4) the uniformly aerated region. In this study, applications of dimensional analysis to the experimental data enable an empirical equation to be developed for determination of the onset location of white waters. An empirical formula for correction of Manning's coefficient, n, is developed and a multiple variables coaxial correlation graphical method is presented.
