The objective of this paper is to make the numerical analysis and experimental visualization on the anode flow channel desing of the direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC). Both results are compared with each other;moreover, a DMFC was conducted the performance measurements under the different flow channels. The main design purpose is to increase the uniformity of the methanol solution supply. A better flow channel design could enhance the diffusion and convection phenomena and raise the DMFC performance. The CFD tools used in the study is FLUENT, by FLUENT Inc. USA.
