近年來由於電腦軟硬體的快速進步與各
級教育單位對CAI 的推廣,各種CAI 發展軟
體如雨後春筍般問世,各種教材、教學方法
也迅速的發展;但由於沒有共通性的發展標
準'使得課程軟體及教學環境各自侷限於適
用的平台下運作,教材之再利用與共享不易,
成為推廣CAI 之一大阻礙。反觀國際間近年
來大力推廣的「持續獲得與壽期支援」 CALS
策略,其目的即在整合運用各種資訊科技及
標準'使資訊得以「建立一次,使用多次」,
降低武器系統全壽期之成本,提昇使用效益,
適值得電腦輔助教學軟體發展之參考。
本論文擷取CALS 精神與優點運用於
CAI 之發展,提出一共享式電腦輔助教學環
境,期使課程規劃設計人員、軟體開發人員、
老師、學生均可透過共同標準之運用,在跨
平台之環境下使用共享式教學資源資料庫,
藉教學資源、之再利用與共享,達到降低教學
軟體發展成本,縮短發展時程,提昇教育品
質與成效之目的。 A shared computer assisted instruction developing environment (SCAlD E), which extracts the advantages of continuous acquisition and life-cycle support (CALS) strategy, is proposed, As integrating various information technologies and standards, the CALS strategy provides a shared and reusable environment to information for the future. It is the real resolution to the bottleneck of traditional computer assisted instruction (CAl).
Course designers, software developers, and teachers will be able to reuse and to share instruction resource to develop better courseware for students through utilizing standards which are also briefly discussed herein.
The expecting effectiveness is proved from the international CALS implement as well. Under the proposed environment in this thesis, we can prospect the wide blooming of CAl in the future.
