    Abstract: 高速無線個人區域網路(High Rate Wireless Personal Area Network --WPAN)提供了短距離內,高速的無線網路資料傳輸,除了提供標準的55Mbps 的傳輸速度率外,若於實體層應用Ultra Wideband (UWB)的技術,傳輸速率可達到480Mbps,符合大眾對於影音多媒體品質日益漸增的需求。而目前在IEEE 802.15.3的標準中,並沒有提到多個device 傳輸時的排程方式。因此在本文中,提出了一個針對即時MPEG-4影像的排程方式,先藉由允入控制,決定piconet中傳輸MPEG-4的裝置數量,然後利用優先權佇列,對即時MPEG-4影像的資料封包作傳輸排程,比較與802.15.3標準傳輸方法的差異;另外,將控制MPEG-4在傳輸時的錯誤率,對piconet 容納裝置數量上,做一效能上的評估。在最後的評估結果中,本篇論文確實可以藉由排程,使得錯誤率有顯著的降低。另外,在GOV_size較小的情況下,可以得到較好的表現;再者,對於較大MPEG-4的影像傳輸,經過排程後,傳輸時間會有較大下降的百分比。
    High Rate Wireless Personal Area Network(HR-WPAN)provides short range and high data rate wireless data communication. Besides it supports data rate up to 55Mbps, using Ultra Wideband (UWB) on the physical layer, the data rate can be achieved up to 480Mbps.It is competence for the request for high quality multimedia transmission. In the IEEE 802.15.3, it dose not mention that the scheduling of the devices. Therefore, we proposed a method which is about real time MPEG-4 video transmission.We use admission control to decide the device number in piconet and scheduling the real time MPEG-4 video with priority queue. We will compare our method and that in the standard and analyze the result. Besides, we evaluate the relation between Job Failure Rate and the number of the device in the piconet.
